Japanese breakfast in Shiba Koen

We will be staying in the Shiba Koen area in Tokyo and breakfast isn't included in the hotel rate. Does anyone now of any cheap places to have Japanese breakfast around there? Thank you.

Japanese breakfast is a bit difficult question, as the usual diners serving home-style food are closed in the morning (there are 24 hour diners of that sort, quite popular in Tokyo, but not near Shiba-Koen). Yoshinoya, Matsuya, Nakau, mentioned above by Halo-san, are downright fast-food diners offering mostly beef bowl junk (and although it's true that they are frequented by male, by no means it is not female un-friendly. I see female solo customers not infrequently). They are okay as fast food as much as McDonalds are, but not recommended for everyday diet (and I am talking from my experience).

Jonathan's and Gusto are family restaurant chains with several Japanese dishes. All-you-can drink bar (or Premium Cafe or whatever it is called, depending on chain) is a welcome choice.

There could be soba / udon noodle shop chains around the station. Unlike Ramen, these are good to your health (especially soba noodles made of buckwheat).

Yoshinoya and Nakau and Matsuya not relax too much.

However, there is a (Japanese food) menu of the morning meal.

If you do not limited to Japanese food, coffee chain such as Doutor coffee and cheap easily.

Doutor Coffee Shop Shiba Park store

3-4-11 Shiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo

Sega Fred Zanetti of the World Trade Center in the near Hamamatsucho Station 12 minutes are open from 7:00 to walk from Shiba Park.

It is not open in the morning, but there are multiple restaurants and shops of Sanuki udon of self-service in the World Trade Center.

Doutor is a good cheap option for breakfast. this is a typical menu http://www.doutor.co.jp/dcs/menu/

Cheap says "convenience store" to me - Lots of options at Japanese convenience stores & they're on every street

Otherwise if you are a really peckish, go to Gusto or Jonathans Family restaurants where there are more substantial breakfast options, you can sit & relax & may be a bit more comfortable ( but the coffee will taste bad). They look like this http://r.gnavi.co.jp/e490581/lang/en/

There is a Yayoiken chain diner in Akabanebashi on the southern tip of Shiba-Koen, but it's not open in the early morning for breakfast-time.
