By bus, quite easy, about 3.5 hours. You could check with Sinh cafe/ Phuong Trang in Dalat. We hired a private minivan for 7 people and it cost us 200,000VND each. It was last year in June.

Besides Sinh Cafe, go to the TM Brothers office in Ham Tien. They have a morning mini-bus that probably goes at the most convenient time to head to Dalat. It gets there just before noon.

It's also a pleasant motorbike trip. The road from Mui Ne to Ham Thanh is great, then from Ham Thanh to where the road begins to ascend into the central highlands is awful and filled with potholes for about an hour, then the road is good again. But none of it has any appreciable traffic to worry about.

the best view and shortest way to go from Muinei to Dalat via Dilinh plateau (highway 28)the road is very smooth and narrow though. you can hire easy rider for this & adventure too.the other route is the Dai Ninh hydro power road, very bad and bumpy now. Big accident last couple years with Russian group.

I think open bus goes with HW28 now. Check it out when you buy thier ticket

Cheers

in Mui Ne right now and having trouble fiding where to buy open tour bus ticket to dalat. The agents around the Bamboo Resort either only speak Russian or just point vaguely down the road for the ticket office, One agent had a minibus for usd5 but I want to make sure the bus has 4 wheels, where can i buy a ticket for the well known companies such as Sinh or Phuong please

Sinh Cafe office is at their resort, which is located at 144 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, about 5 kilometers east of Bamboo Village Resort. Phuong Trang office is next to Mui Ne De Century, about 7 kilometers east of Bamboo Village.

If neither of them have coaches to Dalat when you want to go, try TM Brothers. They have a morning coach, albeit not as big or as nice as either of the above, but it is a reputable company. Most of the ticket offices in Ham Tien, where you are located (You aren't in Mui Ne) will sell you tickets for any of them.
