It is my impression that the Croatian islands and Korcula simply do not have enough transportation places for the number of visitors that now now want to come. The whole experience seems to be scramble for the few places that do exist. I have the impression that there were many ferries plying this route in former Yugoslav times, with a daily hydrofoil to and from Dubrovnik. Also the Marco Polo, a larger ship than the Liburnija, no longer plies the route to Korcula. Does Croatia intend to invest more on this?
