We met Mr. Pomenic at the ferry arrival in Korcula, and he seemed like a very kind, serious and organized man. He offered us a room in the Old Town of Korcula. We payed 600 Kuna for 3 nights, right away. When we got to the studio, the room seemed just fine. Then we found out that the kitchen did not work, as well as the electricity and the warm water in the bathroom. We confronted him with these problems many times, and the second day he told that he was going to fix the problems within three hours. He never called and showed up, but he locked the main door (which he never gave us any key too), so that we could not get in the building. We called, and he never answered the phone, later he turned it of. The local police told us that they have had some problems with this guy before, and that he is not very popular in town. Also other locals told us he is a fraud. We ended up sleeping on a restaurant table that night. When we checked out, we kept the keys to the room, so that he HAD to contact us and meet us to get them. We met him, and complained, and he was not taking responsibility of anything. Finally he agreed to pay us 75 % back, even though we feel that the whole stay should be refunded.. Do not even think about making a deal with this man!
