TVG ticket pick-up in France

When I purchased my Paris-Avignon TVG ticket a week ago I was able to print it out. Now making return reservation (using the Voyages-sncf website and listing Antarctica as home country) but the options at end are only for pick up at train station or mail. The train station machine pickup option states:

Virtual cards and bank cards without Chip and Pin cannot be used for withdrawals at SNCF-ticket machines. The bank card used for payment and PIN number will be requested when withdrawing your tickets.

However, I called Visa and neither my Sapphire or United Mileage Plus Explorer cards have chip and pin

so is there another way?

Any ideas why I did not get the print at home option?

you can go to the ticket counter, show your reservation and credit card and they will print the ticket for you.

Isn't it about time the USA banking system entered the 21st century and issued chip and pin cards as standard? So many visitors to Europe have so many problems.
