Travel Insurance for Vacation Rentals

Does anyone know of a travel insurance company that covers vacation rentals? We're staying at apartments in 3 different European cities and we will be making a 50% deposit and paying in full upon arrival. Is there any company that will cover this, including foreclosure, double-booking, etc.?

Thank you

I doubt very much if a holiday insurance would cover that, it doesn't in the UK. However, we rent apartments in other European countries and never had a problem. We have rented in Spain, Italy, France and Montenegro and never had any problems whatsoever.

Although within the EU we are covered for medical treatment we would never travel without full holiday insurance cover.

We are traveling to France and visiting different VRBO's. One of the landlords is asking for "Holiday Insurance". What is it and where do you get it?

Is this landlord also listed on Flip Key? Flip Key offers insurance - but I think the owner must be listed with them OR he might want you to have renters insurance so if you cause damage to the building or other units your insurance would pay the expenses.

if the unit is listed on any Homeaway site such as vacationrentals.com, homeaway.com, or VRBO - they now offer vacation rental insurance that will protect you if the unit isn't as it was advertised, in the case of fraud or if the unit is not available when you get there. For specifics you would have to looks at the wording of the policy.
