Most if not all those on the Air Travel Forum have been reported but the title still shows up in the forum. There are also several in the India/Hyderabad forums.
Could you please address this "at source" asap?

Like all other Tripadvisor forums, this is also a primarily a member-driven forum. I'm pretty sure that TA is aware of the spamming of the India forums. I think I've read a post by TA_Jeanine in this regard just yesterday.
However, the best way to report problems with spammer is either by clicking on the Report inappropriate content link, or if there are too many to report, going through the Help Center and posting a link to the spammer's profile.

Choose Forums, then Help in Using the Forums, which is the only option that will bring up a comments box. In my experience, it takes between 2 to 12 hours to get a response from the forum moderators.

Thanks for the advice. And, yes it does appear that they're being worked on.
I am sure they are aware but post #4 in this thread may still be causing them problems

Sometimes I think the more they are closed/deleted the more it encourages them to post
Perhaps TA should introduce a "hide" button as they have on Facebook
The Nagpur and Bangalore forums no longer have these spam postings on them.
Since I reported many of the spam posts about 12 hours ago I have been unable to access the Air Travel forum? I also commented on a related post where someone had complained about the posts being closed but the phone number was still visible in the title. That post has been removed from my list of past posts.
As I can access all other forums except Air Travel I assumed that TA had temporarily closed the forum while they were dealing with the issue but it seems that others can access it.
How do I get access again?
i had the same problem harley b.
just deleted my temporary internet files and all is working again (IE9).
That didn't work for me but I can get it by using a different browser.
