Can't post my review, the site says I use profanity in it.

Hello to everyone!

I'd like to post my review of visiting Hopetoun in Edinburg, but every time the site says I'm making a wrong review, like using profanity or so.

I guess, under profanity you meant bad words or expression humiliating and so on. I've checked my review loads of times, there's nothing like that.

Or do you have the maximum use of characters? I can see only the minimum of 100.

I really would like to share my review with others, since I loved the place and would like to recommend it to other tourists.

Please, explain to me, what exactly I do wrong to fix it.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there:

If you post your review on this thread then we can check it for you. It is sometimes quite surprising what the profanity filters, based on US usage of the English language, can block. I have been caught out previously as well.

have you tried to cut and paste it into a reply on the forum, it should show the offending word that way.

@unclegus

I tried to cut and paste the text and got another warning here. Or I don't understand what you meant...

@Luckyfour yup, I checked the link. The only question I have is the usage of with-word. If I cannot use it at all? Then maybe it is the problem...

I agree with L4, words that many of us think are completly begnin seem to trigger the wrath of the TA filters.

The profanity filters catch American slang, which sometimes puzzles people from other countries. That is why it seems as though it doesn't make sense!

The profanity filter can also catch letter strings within a word, which of itself is not an objectionable word, but which _contains_ an objectionable word.
