Easyjet carryon policy

Can you bring a purse as a carryon on Easyjet flights in addition to a bag complying with their size limits, or is it one item of any kind? I suspect the latter but don't know.

One item. Not one item and a purse.

One item.

Aside from a duty free bag it's 1 item only so your purse will have to go in your carry-on.

They only allow one item. So enclose your purse into your carry on bag which complies with their size policy.

Hi

It is almost certain that Easyjet will charge you to put your hand luggage in the hold if you get on with a handbag as well.

You can bring on a bag containing goods bought in the airport and your single piece of hand luggage and they absolutely mean business when you try to sneak in another item. It is quite entertaining to watch people trying to stuff a massive handbag into an overstuffed suitcase while arguing and complaining to the gate staff.

It's very easy, with a little planning.

You put your purse into your carry-on while waiting at the gate.

You take your purse out of your carry-on immediately you reach your seat on the plane.

Simple!

Hi

Just another small bit of advice.

If you want to retrieve your handbag, sorry I can't think purse, which is a small holder of money and cards, then don't completely close your small suitcase and make sure your bag is near the opening. Then you only have to open the zip a few more inches to pull out your bag before you close it and stuff the suitcase in the overhead locker. It saves time and causes less disruption to other passengers.

No, at least not 3 years ago. My daughter had to pay them extra for carrying her purse!

That must have been a rather large purse/handbag. : )

Not at all. Even if it was a small one, if it didn't fit inside her other carry-on, she was therefore carrying two bags, not the one bag which is very clearly stipulated by EasyJet's website. She would therefore have had to pay for the other bag to be put in the hold at the gate.
