I have the option to book a connecting flight with Alitalia from Verona to Lamezia Terme, connecting through Rome.
The alternative is to take a train from Verona to Milan, then fly directly with EasyJet. This will also be half the price, but more hassle.
I am concerned about the financial stability of Alitalia, and their capital raising efforts. The flight is not until the beginning of May 2014, and a lot can happen between now and then.
Which flight would you book?
If the connecting Alitalia schedule was a similar price to the direct flight from Milan, would that affect your decision?
