Does anyone know if BA intends on providing 787 service between Gatwick and Orlando in the near future?
No. They don't. BA fly the 777 Gatwick to Orlando. If you want to fly a 787, Thomson, another British airline, fly one Gatwick to Sanford, and theirs actually has more legroom than BA's examples.
Norwegian are also flying a particularly cramped 787 Gatwick to Ft Lauderdale next year, with some very low fares.Edited: 11:57 am, November 08, 2013
You're unlikely to be able to originate your flight from Sanford if you fly with Thomsons. Norwegian offer the same seat pitch as BA.
Chances of BA putting one of their shiny new 787's on a Gatwick leisure route anytime soon - about the same as a snowfall on Miami Beach, I suspect !
And it's British AirWAYS, if you feel you must use the airline's full name. British air, to repeat an expression a different regular likes to use, is what we all breathe here in the UK!
And if you read the reviews on the thread in here you'll be unlikely to want to fly it anyway tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g1-i10702-k66565…
