Scoot Airline with an Infant

I am travelling from Sydney to Singapore flying Scoot Airlines in a few days and am having a hard time getting a response from Scoot on the following questions. Can anyone who has flown with them answer.

Can you take your stroller to the gate?

Can you take an additional bag on board for your Infant's nappy bag?

Can you take baby food and water bottle on board?

Can you take the stroller to the gate - YES you can, they will then tag it and put it under the plane.

In regards to taking additional bags on board for the baby please read from Scoot's Website:

"Specific infant equipment is carried free of charge on Scoot flights. All other infant baggage must be included as part of the parent's or guardian's baggage allowance. Specific infant equipment includes, but is not restricted to the following items:

Portable Cot

Car Seat

Baby Capsule

So, in other words, any items you need for your infant MUST be included as part of your own allowance.

In regards to baby food/water etc, yes you can take it onboard (remembering any security rules for liquids).

Remember, SCOOT does not have bassinett seats on the plane. You must hold the infant in you lap for the entire flight.

Scoot does allow you to board early with an infant so that you do not need to join the usual rush to the gate.

Thank you for your response, we have had absolutely no response from Scoot on this, their Customer Service is lacking, I just hope it is a bit better at the airport and on-board than it has been over the phone and internet.

Having now travelled I can answer this question for anybody who might be looking for an answer in future.

Flying out of Sydney we were unable to take our stroller to the gate and were made to check it in with our luggage. However, flying out of Singapore we were able to take the stroller to the gate where they had a drop off point and it was then available for collection at the oversized items area when we arrived back in Sydney.

Our carry on bags were not weighed at all on the way out of Sydney and they didn't even ask to see them, having said that we didn't risk having extra and ensured all our baby's items were within our carry on limits. We did take both food and water in a baby bottle and had no problem with that. Flying out of Singapore they did weigh our carry on bags.

The pre flight service from Scoot is not great, but the staff were pleasant at check in and on board.
