luggage for infants (travel cot)

Hello all

Any advice if I can carry my daughter's travel cot (outside the regular dimensions) within the 10 kg cabin limit or would I need to check this in. We are flying from Milan to Barcelona.

Many thanks

Have you read their carry-on requirements?

you won't be able to take a travel cot on easy jet. everything has to fit in the correct sized bag. everything! and an infant has no hand baggage allowance, as far as i know.

i am not sure how you would carry it anyway - with the baby to contend with.

Thanks For the response. Easy jet has free check in for travel cot, vueling policy is not clear.

Vueling list carry-cots in their check-in luggage information ...

For babies under two years old, a pushchair or carry cot completely folded can be transported at no extra cost.

There is no mention of them in the carry-on section ... presumably that means they must be checked in.
