First, no I do not work for Allianz lol. Seems like whenever they get a good review, the person is accused of being an employee. Not the case.
I used to be a travel agent with AAA and we always recommended the Access American product to our travelers. So, when I bought airline tickets much farther in advance than I normally do, I bought travel insurance thru Allianz (formerly Access) and also added the "required to work" rider for it just in case.
So glad I did! Due to some changes in my department I was not able to go on vacation as previously planned.
I cancelled my airline tickets and submitted my claim online on 9/16, including printouts showing I cancelled the tickets, along with an email from my supervisor indicating I was required to work.
I received my FULL refund check on 9/30 no questions asked. I am very pleased in how quickly they turned around the claim and that they did not try and play games with me as I'd seen in others reviews. I will purchase insurance thru them again!
