Thomson Cabin Baggage

Hi all

Flying to Lanzarote next week with Thomsons how strict are they on cabbage baggage now days,wife as a 5 kg bag plus handbag will there be an issue ?

You can only take one piece. The handbag will have to go in the hand luggage, and it will all have to weigh less than 5kg. Thomsons weigh hand luggage regularly, and Arrecife are strict on all luggage.

so maybe they are saying that goods bought in duty-free shops must also go into your one piece.

I wonder if this also means things like cigarettes and alcohol.

You can take a bag of goods bought airside, as well as your one piece of hand luggage.

Isn't that down to individual airlines? I seem to recall that ryanair disagree with that view.

Ryanair do allow it at some airports, but you would need to ask Ryanair which ones they are.

Thomsons definitely allow it.
