Wrong title in E-ticket - Cathay pacific

Hi All,

I have recently booked a ticket for my wife through cathaypacific from Chennai to Newyork. Unfortunately when i booked the ticket i have entered Mr instead of Mrs as title for my wife. Will this cause a problem ? I already spoke to the airline, they are willing to change but they want me to do it through the agent. My agent is an online portal(cleartrip.com) who is repeatedly telling me the request is queued but i see no response. I'm confused because if i'm asked to book the ticket later the price must double almost. Please advice if any of you similar experience.

The title does not matter as long as the names are exactly as on the passports.
