I wonder if any European carrier will ever pull their finger out and give the Asian carriers a run for their money.

Not one in the top ten is pitiful.

I guess it's inevitable that the "I had one flight with someone and it was the worst experience ever in human history" brigade would show up....

Move the continent further eastwards, there would be a few more!

Wasn't expecting Garuda to be up there but i have to say it's been a few years since I've flown with them, the otehrs are no surprise. Emirates will be very happy they've beaten both Qatar and Etihad.

Agree with some and others are well laughable. Some aspects of EK have improved a lot and other areas are getting worse.

But were all going to have our own opinions on the 'Best' and one good/bad experience really will influence some peoples views.

Agree with Scotlandscout and surprised to see EK up there are #1.

Some aspects have improved - ie opening up of all the business class lounges to silvers in Dubai recently, but others like the recent tax/fuel increase which effectively raises airfares are going to make them much less competitive.

I third that opinion about EK, definitely Top 10 worthy, but didn't expect to take #1, nor Garuda in the Top 10.
