Virgin code share and are actually Etihad flights. I've always thought it was better to opt for the áctual' flight operator in this case but the price difference for 2 tickets on exactly the same flights in Dec returning Jan have a difference of GBP 598 if I chose to book direct with Etihad.
Could anybody explain what the real differences in code share flights are?
Surely if it's the same flight and return tickets flying Virgin (operated by Etihad) is GBP 768.16 yet booking direct with Etihad is GBP 1067.36 (times this by 2 tickets) seems to be a no brainer to me. What do I need to be aware of when making these comparisons apart from cost?
