Booked a flight from nadi, fiji to papeete, tahiti via auckland. Had an email from expedia "24hrs until your trip" so we checked our online itinerary... Depart nadi at 1120am same as original itinerary. We got to airport to find that flight no longer operates. Air New Zealand office said Expedia were notified of change in dec 2012 but they had NOT updated their system or our itinerary and had not emailed us.
Resulting in missing all flights to tahiti. Missing connecting flight to BoraBora and a night at Le Meridien at a hefty $1000/night. And spending 2 days in Auckland, NZ at our expense.
What do we think?
