Do we need to rug up in Jetstar

We are traveling between Melbourne and Singapore with Jetstar and wondering if it gets cold on board?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on you. I always feel hot on flights.

Suggest a loose short sleeved t shirt and a pashmina or light fleece. Then you've covered all bases.

It depends on the pilot but I always take a pashmina in my bag just in case.

I find it also depends where you sit. Best to be prepared.

The airline should make little difference to cabin temp. The temps are set across various cabin zones and each can be adjusted by crew individually if required. This compensates for the differences around doors or other open spaces and hotter areas for example nearer galleys where there may ovens working. Just ask them to adjust the temp. With Jetstar, I'd be more worried about actually operating anywhere near the scheduled time given their performance....

It's all that exercise you get trying to get an FAs attention - warms you up!

Assume it will be chilly on departure and they will turn the temp up later in the flight. That's normally the way.

As others have said, take a pashmina, I find the light cashmere ones the best, as they are very fine but add a surprising amount of warmth, are very light to carry and fold away easily.

I often experience the other way around;-)

Really? I often find they turn the temp up later to put the pax to sleep after meals on long haul....:))
