Bulkhead and exit row seats on UA 767-300 v.2

This 767-300 v2 is a new configuration for United. Exit rows are 21-22. Has anyone flown on this plane? Does row 22, second exit row, have additional leg room? Hard to tell from seat maps and Seat Guru. How about the bulkhead? Which would be preferable for increased leg room? Thanks.

Haven't flown that one I'm afraid, so the value here is minimal. But, looking at the seat map, it looks like the exit row is something like the over wing exit on the 757. So, while there are seats in front of you (unlike the 763-v1), I'd expect row 22 to have a very good seat pitch indeed and be well worth it.

Given row 22 or the bulkhead row 16 (which on the 777 doesn't quite have enough room to stretch your legs fully), I'd opt for 22.

Agree; if row 22 is available (seats on the sides), grab it. Very good leg room.

Hi,

I am travelling from Europe to the US this week on thursday on this new configuration of the 767-300 v2. I have booked row 22... But looks like row 21 is even better, more legroom... Any advice you can give me?

Cheers

Melilux74,

According to the seat map on the United website, row 21 is not an exit row; only row 22 - united.com/web/…v2.aspx

Even if 21 were an exit row, it has limited recline because of the exit row 22 behind.

If you are back from your flight, could you please comment on row 22 on the 767-300 v2? We have just booked tickets on it and now have some concerns.

Hi,

Row 22 is the exit row only for the side seats not for the middle. If you wish to seat in the 3 seats in the middle then book row 21 which is amazingly spacious. This was anyway the configuration we had for the flight from Geneva to New York.

Have a safe trip!

Cheers
