The change to low lactose meals does wonders for me on a long flight....

Being jammed in the window seat with the other two passengers sound asleep does cause massive discomfort!

But you get your own back (what was that about women:)

Great post Numbat.

I take a product called Degas which reduces the bloating feeling. Makes flying more comfortable.

Other than that, thank God for noise cancelling headphones.

Ah, yes and it's from a paper written by,,,,,men, who, as a gender, tend not to remotely mind their own fart smells, so would naturally think a woman's is worse.

Wasn't it men who invented cutting the cheese then smothering you under the duvet, who inveted wafting, lighting them and many other ingenius methods for everyone to partake in their little bodily event?

As a fellow lactose intolerant I can pick out someone with the same problem at 200 yards, it is very distinctive and long lasting.

But there is an answer, Holland and Barrett sell vastly overpriced lactase tablets, take three before you eat, and you can buy lactase drops on the internet to put into your milk.

Makes for happy flying companions and you can concentrate on your book instead of shooting black looks at fellow passengers to try and pass the blame.

I find plane journeys make me feel bloated, particularly after food consumption. Sometimes a good fart can make you feel all the better :-D

Perhaps this was more commonplace on Pluna Airlines (expired) aka PU. Or maybe when flying in and out of PU Dong or PU'er. At least Portugese speaking airlines don't serve PayDay candy bars.
