Hi. I know this is different for every flight plan, and usually baggage is checked though if you fly on major airlines, but just curious if anyone knows about my itinerary specifically:
PHX to LAX on USAirways
LAX-HK Cathay Pacific
HK-Denpasar- Cathay Pacific
Does anyone know if US Airways will transfer my bags to Cathay Pacific?

Assuming this is a single ticket then, as far as I'm aware, US Airways have an interline agreement with CX so your bags should be checked through to your final destination.
Depends on your ticket. If this is ticketed as one through ticket to your final destination, yes they should transfer your bags. However, if these are separately booked tickets, they might, but probaly won't due to liability issues and they're also not a part of the same alliance. In the latter case, all you can do is ask and hope they agree.to transfer them.

MORE important is whether you have enough time between flights at LAX???
You'll have to exti one terminal walk to another and go through security again before you walk to your gate!!
Ugh, I hate LAX. I have 2.5 hours there, going from terminal 1 to terminal B. That should be enough time, don't you think?
Yes, Coming from El Paso that should be enough time.

Be sure to check your luggage tags that the bags are indeed going all the way to DPS.
