EK have not yet updated their website. The A380 hub was supposed to open today.

We came through DXB Dec 31/Jan 1 and it was a bit of a mess. No sign of the new hub opening yet. We were hoping it might have opened just in time for our trip. It should be great.

I heard via flyertalk that it opened this week on schedule - 2nd or 3rd Jan - not sure which.

Oh how frustrating, missed it by a day or so! Can't complain though, EK gave us upgrades, business to first! Now that is a great way to fly!

The First class lounge in Concourse A is operational but not business lounge yet. Business class can use First though.
