I've read a lot of posts about immigration but the closet thing I can find is when someone's layover and destination are in Europe (or whatever the district thing is called).

My question is: During my layover in France, do I have to go through immigration? I will be flying with the same carrier from Boston to Shanghai. I just want to know for choosing connecting flights with enough time.
