Best time to book for September 2013 Australia to USA??

Just wondering if anyone has experience in when to get a good fare special for Australia to the USA for September?

Ive noticed a few specials up until August at the moment, wondering if any airlines tend to do September specials and if so when they are released.

no one really knows.

keep an eye on www.bestflights.com.au

they are a good barometer for specials. when u see them check out the airlines' web sites.

also subscribe to emails of the airlines that fly the route.

Look at the prices now. Watch them for a few months. When you see a special fare come up that you are happy to pay, buy the ticket.

Never look again after that!
