It seems Ryanair are opening a base at the new Warsaw-Modlin Airport in Poland from October 2012. They will initially launch eight routes in July, with London-Stansted being the only UK route and use it as a destination airport. However in October several new routes across Europe will be launched with new services to Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow-Prestwick, Liverpool and Manchester in the UK alone. The new routes are confirmed but is the Polish airport becoming a new base or just expanding as a destination airport? Eindhoven and Paris-Beauvais are the only new routes from Warsaw-Modlin that are not Ryanair bases but are instead large destination airports.
