I've never flown them, but they were rated pretty high.
I have flown AirTran a couple of timesaaaaaa: On time, no lost luggage, friendly FA's, clean plane.
We fly AirTran a couple times a year to Florida. We have had no problems and have found, that for us, that Air Tran flights are cheaper than Southwest. I would recomend them.
Just flew AirTran BWI-MIA roundtrip Business Class. Good price, flights on time, comfortable seats, FAs did an excellent job and pilot even stood up in front of plane before take-off to welcome everyone. I will travel AirTran again.
cheap but expec delays during peak hours of the day
thanks for the quick replies. Now I read somewhere that it used to be ValuJet. is the actual AirTran Airways safer then valujet?
I'm flying to London from Newark, but I'm getting a flight from LA the day/night before... I'm a little worried about delays though.
I've been reading articles on flight delays and I looked at some statistics, but the thing is, a delay includes things like 15 minute delays which really wouldn't bother me... I'm more worried about delays by 5 hours or whatever. Does anyone know how big a problem this would be?
With AirTran, I'd be going through Georgia...
