Looking for Affordable Weight loss Fitness Vacation |
|
I am really desesperate to find an affordable weight loss retreat vacation?!?! So far I came across the spas boot camp weight loss program that would cost me around 10 000$ for 1 month. Any suggestion? I want to get away for about 3 to 4 weeks in May 2008 and loose about 20 lbs but mainly reshape and tone my body. Thank you Marylene |

Any destinations like the USA, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Thailand, India, etc...

I have never been here, so can't vouch for the place, but I have thought it looks great, and certainly much cheaper than what you mention: http://www.newlifehikingspa.com/. They've been around for a while, and it's located at Killington Mountain in Vermont.

I was looking at New Life Hiking Spa also for exactly same reason. Would love to hear if anyone has been there.

I have found each tour of India, very useful for achieving weight loss. Why pay for a boot camp, when the same result can be had for much cheaper just travelling ,eating and drinking in India?

I have been to New Life Hiking Spa in June of 2007 for the 11 day weight loss retreat. It was a good value for the money and I felt very comfortable being there by my self. I would like to go back for a week this year. Would recommend it.

Hello Marylene, Like you, I am looking for an affordable camp - maybe even just for a 2 week (or less) period that can get me back on track. Did anyone reply to you? If so, would you mind letting me in on the information? Thanks in advance, - Donna dkenefick46@hotmail.com

Well, this is not a camp but one of the best health clubs in the world with a physician supervised weight loss program. It is in Washington state, outside of Seattle in Bellevue. It is called the Pro Club. Check out their website and read about the 20-20 program. They would probably set you up with something for a few weeks time even though that is not their main focus. They have a wonderful spa, two or three restaurants on site, five swimming pools, pilates, spinning, and all that in the best setting. It does not have a hotel, but Bellevue is nearby with many fine hotels. After doing your fitness plan you can try exploring the outdoor in the Pacific Northwest. They have a location in downtown Seattle also but I haven't been there. I am sure it is fairly similar, and there is lots of good lodging in downtown Seattle with plenty to do all around.
