  "We arrived in Arenzano at sunset during a rain storm. We were cold, wet and very hungry after having spent nearly 9 hours on trains. After checking into the hotel we wandered around looking for a locals eatery. By pure luck we stumbled into this gem. The staff (only two people) were immediately welc..."oming and very patient with our poor Italian. The server recommend several dishes which were all spectacular. The shrimp, octopus, and calamari were fresh and cooked to perfection. Half way through our meal the owner came to our table and spoke with us. He was by far the friendliest Italian we've met during our three weeks in Italy. After we finished eating and asked for the check he continued to spoil us with limoncello and chocolate covered strawberries and also recommended things we should see and do while in town. This place had a 100% local vibe but was at the same time completely inviting to visitors. I can't recommend this place enough!!! " More >

  "I had there my favorite spaghetti alle vongole. Very fresh and tasty. The same for meals that my family ordered (pasta with truffles and tomato sauce for my son. For dessert I tried an excellent small strawberries and sorbet limone which was great. The staff did not speak any English but we managed...." The only minor point was that we had to wait really long for french fries for my little daughter and there was no chicken in the menu, which is what most of kids like to have, if pizza is not served. We already finished eating and only then she got her meal. But it is very nice, lots of local people enjoying food as well, which is always a good measure of the quality for us. " More >
