"Three of us enjoyed a well prepared and tasty lunch in the Sail Loft. The restaurant/cafe is at the end of an exposed and uneven walk across the Causeway, and at the foot of a challenging climb over uneven steps and rocks up to the house. There was a queue even on a blustery and not too warm midweek..." day, but not too long a wait. The food was well prepared and tasty, good value tho' soft drinks are expensive. The serving staff were well trained, friendly and efficient. Would eat there again but not sure I'd make the challenging climb up St Michaels Mount other than to enjoy the views, as the interior displays have very little information on the place, and perhaps because of this it failed to capture my imagination.

"We are reasonably local and this is our favourite place to stop on the way home from visiting family. This is a small, family owned concern and very high quality for all that its a shack in a car park! Lovely food, prepared to order from fresh local ingredients and also fair trade stuff. Great coffe..."e. Able to do vegan food and sorbet, but also does great pasties, jackets, panini for meat eaters! Tiny seating space indoors. Lots of space outdoors. Also sells beach paraphernalia, postcards etc. Thanks for the consistently great service
