  "All of our group agreed on lunch at the SENAC Restaurant in Sao Luis and we were not disappointed. In fact, we were dazzled - by the foods, the variety, their presentation, the service, the cleanliness of the restaurant and staff, but I think the most impressive was the selection of foods available...". Food is served buffet style, as you have undoubtedly read, but the tables must total fifty feet in length, maybe more! Most every meat is available, prepared with two or three different recipes; the same for vegetables. For us Norte Americano gringos, we were looking for something different and "local." We succeeded: everything was different and delicious. There were at least a dozen desserts to choose from, some familiar, some strange in name, but all delicious. Personally, I only tasted four.
