The Picante taco is their house specialty, it is a hard taco wrapped in a soft taco, with guacamole, sour cream and beans between the two taco shells. It was very good.   "We stayed at the Frangipani, so we were frequent guests at Straw Hat during our stay. We had breakfast here 3 times, lunch once and dinner once. We had drinks from the bar every day, mostly utilizing the beach service that they provide for Frangipani guests. Frangi guests get a continental break..."fast option, or a $7.50 credit. We used the credit instead of the continental breakfast option. The first time, I had the fruit plate and a muffin, while my husband had the French toast with bacon. The muffin was terrible, tasted like it was missing a key ingredient or either very old. However, the fruit plate was very fresh with a wide variety including pineapple, kiwi, watermelon, etc. I took a bite of the French toast and oh my goodness - it was outstanding. I ordered this the next two times. It was really big enough to split with someone, although I could never convince my husband of this. He ended up eating his own French toast then the rest of mine!
