  "Dinner at the restaurant was less than what I had anticipated recently. First, the restaurant charges city prices for what is a tiny village with fish being landed less than 100metres away. Second the quality is good, but not as great as you would expect from fish being landed as described above...". The restaurant wins on location overlooking the gorgeous Portmagee harbour, and if you are lucky enough to get a window table of which there are only 3 or 4, then you will be made. We got a window table, but that was sheer luck as the restaurant was not busy on our night of dining. Service could not be faulted, friendly and efficient. Presentation of the food was average. My Brie starter looked like it was out of a packet, apologies to the chef if it wasn't but it seriously looked as if it might have been (see my pic of it and judge for yourself) The fish in my main of Monkfish and prawn mornay had a rubbery consistency and the sauce was 'watery', not creamy as I had hoped.
