I use a powered wheelchair and the lady manager was very helpful in opening the doors and finding a suitable table for us. Inside it has a very cosy atmosphere and a homely feel which puts one very much at eas..."e. There is a plenty of choice for the lunch menu and the cooked breakfast I chose was very tasty and just the right amount, with a proper pot of tea with hot water top-up, what more could you ask?. The prices were reasonable especially for Cowbridge and we found the waitresses to be very polite and helpful.   "Tried the Star Inn, as we had heard new people had taken it over and it had gone downhill a bit. What a pleasant surprise. Instead of being a bit dark inside it was lovely and light with new decor and furnishings. We then went in and were shown to our table. The menu has your mouth watering before the food arrives. Which didn't take long after we had ordered. I ordered the fillet steak (only £18 a bargain) and it was excellent. Cooked medium as I had asked and my daughters was exactly medium rare as she had asked. We loved the chips, fluffy inside and crispy outside with onion rings and tomatoes well worth the money.
