  "Terrific food at Osteria del Borgo in Mensano, a small town the Casole d'Elsa area of Italy. Fried baby artichokes, the best mozzarella di buffalo and real tomatoes, terrific vegitable soup and panna cota. Roberto and the rest of the staff speak good English (everyone in our part of the dining room ..."were from America!) and are knowlegeable on wine. The streets are narrow; best to park as soon as you can. The osteria is easy to find on via Ricasoli and they have a well stocked market across from the restaruant if you want to buy food stuff.
