"This family restaurant is not easy to get to without a car (there is plenty of private parking space). It is high up with a lake view, which is traversed by electricity and phone lines. On good days, the lake view can be spectacular. It serves local (Lombardy and Lake Como) food (e.g., lake fish) an..."d not pastas or fancy deserts one expects from more touristy eateries. The service is excellent, but they understand some and do not speak English with a small risk of "lost in translation." The quality of food is also excellent, and the wine selection seems substantial although as a non-drinker I cannot comment further. The price is very reasonable, and we enjoyed our meal very much. If I am around I would consider coming again.

We would have loved to continue with more wine, but, alas, someone had to ...

"The food and the view were amazing. We were told to go for dinner, for a sunset view. However, it was our last night and they had a private wedding so they were closed. We were so excited when they said they were open for lunch. The trip would not have been the same if we did not experience Al V..."eluu, it is a must!
