  "Read in Lonely Planet McClard's was Bill Clinton's favorite BBQ joint. We loved it. Simple menu. Nice waitstaff. I ordered the sliced beef - it was a bit on the dry side. The sides were the stars on the plate - the coleslaw and beans - so delish. The rest of my party had ribs and chopped pork ..."which they liked. People seated around us were eating mounds of tamales. We drove by and saw the sign, but didn't see the restaurant, so we turned around and found it at lake level beside a bridge on the lake. The outside wasn't anything special. but the food and service were the best on ..."our trip through Hot Springs and Branson. The waitresses were young and cheerful and took good care of us.
