We enjoyed the desserts, chocolate bete noir and basil lime panna cotta. We felt all of our servings were well proportioned, we were pleasantly full; we did not leave with leftovers but that was not our expectation. I really appreciate the use of locally grown, fresh ingredients and the effort the chefs make in mixing new combinations of flavors and spices. We usually eat there at least once a visit for Parent's weekend or Reunion weekend but this past Graduation Week we had to opportunity to eat at other restaurants and the Southern Inn. Why did we bother to go to oth..."er restaurants, when we compared them to the Southern Inn. We have decided that we will eat all our dinners at the Southern Inn and stop wasting our money and time at other restaurants. The Duck, Seafood, Lamb and all the chef's specials are excellent.
