Certainly none of th..."e complaints she raises were anything I saw while there, such as suggesting the toilets were not clean or that the food was not fresh. I'm also used to eating in Italy and therefore understand that contorni are an expected extra expense. Still, opinions differ I guess, so I will give mine. The place is incredibly uninspiring from outside and we initially passed it by and ventured into town. However, in a search for a menu that would allow both me and my vegan partner to eat we eventually returned to "C'era in Volta".   "We enjoyed a pretty good pizza here at lunchtime - nice, thin crust, tasty enough ingredients. The place was almost deserted (it was April), so we had very good service. House wine ok."
