This restaurant has been in business forever although it burned to the ground in 2009 and has since been re-built. We have been there since the rebuild and was very satisfi..."ed with the food although the service was a little slow. But we didn't have much else to do....so didn't mind the wait. A group of us are planning on going back this week-end to celebrate our husband's 60th birthdays and hope that it is as good as last time. I'm reading the other recent reviews and hope that we aren't dissapointed. It would be such a shame. " More >

  "Good food, off the beaten path"
  "The reatuarant sits right on the bend of Caddo Lake. The view is spectacular. The frog legs and the fish fillets are great, but the alligator was overdone. The chef came out to the dining room to personally greet the customers. That was a nice touch and Madrid feel welcome. "
