The fact he was in a kilt just made it more of a winner for my Canadian companion. A real welcome break from the Shortbread tin Scotland that we'd seen too much of in previous day. Just great food, relaxed atmosphere, lovely decor and menu details and we thoroughly enjoyed our wee rest before finishing our journey. Made a long afternoon drive into a full, happy experience.
