"We’ve dined at Spain for many years and always enjoyed a high quality meal. I recommend making a call to add your name to the “Call ahead waiting list” since they only take reservations for parties of 6 or more. The white table cloths and elegance are diminished a bit on a busy evening by the high..." level of sound from the crowd of diners. The red sangria is good but a bit weak; I’d prefer a more red wine and less ice. The greens in the Picasso Salad were very fresh and the dressing had a good balance of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
The Basque Style Filet of Sole seafood was fresh in a delicious white wine, minced onions, garlic and clam broth. The brandy and sherry in the Mariscada Spain gave the tomato broth a pleasant slightly sweet taste. The mussels, shrimp and scallops were excellent but the clams were “chewy”.

We had the White Sangria (they are known for this) and the White Pomegranate Mohitos for starters. Most excellent drinks, the fruit was fresh and deeply permeated the flavor of the drink. As an appetizer, we had the balsamic calamari. These had a crunchy coating, with the sweet/sour of reduced balsamic vinegar. We loved it. Along side this , we were served warm bread, with oil and roasted garlic. Our party of four, ate two baskets of bread. For entrees, we had: the Fillet Mignon with Bordelaise sauce - this was prepared to perfection and served with garlic mashed potatoes; the Sesame crusted tuna - this w...
