  "Traveling through the area when hubby pulled off the exit shouting it was time to eat lunch at Hinkle's! We ate here once before about 5 mos ago, and loved the small town feel and nostalgia of the old time pharmacy with a lunch counter. The place was busy, but we got a booth quickly. Again, the serv..."er was friendly and helpful with the specials....the menu is quite large. I (once again) got chili and hubby got soup...both were hot, homemade and delicious. I had a wrap. It was well stuffed with meat and veggies but could have used a bit more seasoning or dressing; still pretty good. Hubby got a Monte Cristo which was nicely toasted and full, but a bit bland. Seems like they need to season the food better or offer sauces on the side. The cost is quite reasonable and the experience is just fun! The pharmacy has lot of little gifts, accessories and reminds me a bit of an old 5&10 store...worth it just to get a rush of a wonderful childhood memory.
