We entered the place and noted the 40's or so ambience. Very clean and neat, like going back in time to a..." 40's diner. The food is nothing like one would expect from a regular diner. The menu is rather varied and the food is homemade, down to the chocolate, chocolate chip cake. Ala mode with Tillamook ice cream was great. My wife had the BBQ pulled pork and said it was the best she had ever had. I had the beef dip...the au jus was very good. You are right on the river.....as you are on the dock. Seating g inside and out. Children need to wear life preservers per regulations. This place was a great find. Jamie and staff are exceptionally kind and helpful...almost like eating with friends.   "Stopped by Jamie's on the way up the Oregon coast from Indiana. Immediately served and brought drinks by Jamie who was such a doll! Do not be fooled by the atmosphere. My husband and I were a little leary as we parked in the gravel parking lot surrounded by RV's. Off the beaten path from 101 and a ..."little confusing to find as the signs do not match the name of the restaurant (Jamie and her husband are working on this) absolutely one of the best lunches we have had since our vacation began. I had the pulled pork with fresh cole slaw and baked beans. My husband had the chicken fried steak special. AMAZING!!!!!! Perfectly cooked and we felt like we had five star food in front of us.
