  "My boyfriend and I have been eating in this restaurant since September 2012. I am too surprised by the bad reviews listed here. We tried many times all the food in the menu and have never been disappointed. Our favorites are shopska salad and beef tongue. Their balkan kebap and the wines are magic! ..."I agree totally that the service hasn't been quite so good, particularly in the last month. If I didn't know the place, I would say that we were unwanted customers, plus the language barrier is sometimes annoying. When you are a regular, you would expect to be able to have light conversation, few jokes or at least friendly attitude. But this is not quite happening because of the language barrier. We were there last week for a supper and the waitress never smiled the entire evening. I hope they fix that soon. I also think that the TV is a bit too much, but the music is always very different from any other place we eat at. I love it! " More >

  "Right by George Street tram stop. Prices for sitdown now £4.95 daytime and goes up to £5.95 after about 1600 hours. Soft drinks and tea extra. I travel quite a way to get here for the eat-as-much experience of always piping hot chinese food. OK not a wide or changing range but always consistent. Ple..."nty of meat and varied sauces. Tried others in Croydon and found their food cold or unappetizing. I can always get through 2 heaped plates here and not leave a drop. The staff are very business like getting you seated very quickly and pride themselves on clearing tables and floor spills very quickly. Always a welcome and a goodbye. Recommended for those hungry but not wanting airs or graces or premium prices. " More >
