Our server (Meghan) was very knowledgeable about everything and extremely pleasamt and helpful. I had a Sangria and it was delicious. For appetizers I chose the Kale Salad which..." was delicious - very different and I was very happy with it. My husband chose the cow cheek perogies and he loved them. We chose the Pork Shank and the Pork Chop which apparently are highly recommended. Great decision!!! Unfortunately I was sooo full that I didn't have room for dessert. My only tip to anyone going there is to try to sit at the cook bar. Since it was our first time here we didn't know but we saw that there was seating at the bar where all the foods were prepared. I would have loved to have sat there.   "Don's Pomeroy House is my favorite restaurant in the Cleveland area (and my husband's). We try to dine there about twice a month. There is plenty of history and the old/former house has many different rooms which offer a different ambiance, such as the pub downstairs, and the more formal library ..."room and the parlour room on the first floor. We prefer the parlour because it is more intimate. All the dishes that my husband and I have tried are excellent. I love the crab caesar salad, with parmesan basket, as well as the pretzel crusted walleye. (I used to only eat salmon). The service is also top notch! We love Jennifer and Laura. And the host and hostess, Rick and Laura always greet us by name, with a smile, and know exactly where we want to sit.
