  "Wow! What a step back in time! It was worrying when we arrived as it smelt damp and musty and the furniture was so dated. I felt we had stepped back in time that is for sure. We were worried how our meal would be. Our hostess was a little excentric, and hearded us around like children on a schoo..."l trip (we din't have kids with us!). I was a bit fearful of holding my cutlery properly. But she did listen to what people wanted. We had a good meal and they did well as we were a big group. The choices were also stuck in time with Prawn Cocktails and the like. We decided they should have had Chicken Kiev and Acrtic Roll and that would have completed the menu!! Hats off to them, our meal was hot and tasty even though served bruskly and efficently. Certainly a memorable evening. " More >
