  "I was fortunate to be treated to the 'Mothers' Day Brunch' at the Elm Hurst on May 12. We had a table booked but there was a long line when we got there. Though we were early, we still had to wait in the hallway along with a number of others. It was difficult for diners to walk through the crowd ..."with their plates of food from the buffet. Mothers' Day is a busy day at any restaurant but it appeared that they did not have enough servers as there were many empty tables while we waited and gazed at the lovely food passsing us by. The tables were beautifully set out and when we finally got our food - after meandering down hallways and a set of stairs, it was worth the wait. Wait staff were busy and it was hard to catch one to get glasses of water, tea etc. We were offered Mimosa cocktails and, even though I said 'Yes', my son was the only one at the table who received one in our party of 4!
