"This tendy rustic corner bistro in downtown Durham delivers prompt service and tasty food. Expect a bustling noisy atmosphere thanks to big crowds plus exposed brick walls and vaulted ceilings. The chicken paillard salad has a chicken breast seared to perfection, warmed brie atop, salad below and ..."garnished with a crispy pile of delicious shoestring onions. Beignets arrive fast and fresh; coffee is local and served french-press style. Mimosas are heavy on the OJ - order champagne "straight" to get the most for your money. The full menu is available at the bar. On nice weather days there are a few sidewalk tables but no atmosphere there. Note to self: Cler's brunch closes at 2pm, and with limited seating, make a reservation. Street parking just changed to 1/2 hour only on C.H., so shoot for the garage across the street or on Rigsbee to avoid a ticket.
